Recording Streaming Video from web

I am doing a presentation next week for a class I'm in...and I'd love to add a real player video stream from a website. I know I can just go to the stream and hope it works, but i'd rather somehow capture it and embed it into my power point presentation. Does anyone know of any good way to capture streams?
