In my state it is legal to record a telephone conversation with the permission of one of the parties (the caller for instance). So, if I wish to record a conversation of my own, how do I do it? I see no instructions in the manual. Perhaps it involves the use of the recorder at the same time. If so, what would be the steps.

Thanks

I believe the difficulty in finding an app is that there are legal issues tied to such things, even though it is possible that some states do not need dual consent, like yours. However, actually being able to do it on the iPhone isn't possible as far as I can tell. There is, however, supposed to be an app for that.

Record calls on iPhone

Don't know about the quality, but couldn't you also put the call on speaker and use the native Voice Memos App?
