Recording tennis channel off the Internet for later viewing

Hi there all. I am a newbie. I have entered the Mac house thru the iPhone, ipdad door.
Now I am looking at getting an iMac. Here is my question. My wife of over wo years is totally nontechnical, and that is probably why she really likes her iPhone. Anyway, she is a lifelong tennis player
Here is what I want to be able to do
I have a subscription to the tennis channel on the Internet, however they only show tennis matches live. I want to be able to record the stream from the tennis channel for replay at the time most convenient
Is there either a software or hardware or software/hardware package that will allow me to do this with minimal hassle?
This might seem trivial to ya'll, but if I can do this with a new iMac it will be my kitchen pass to the new iMac!

Roxio makes a product called Toast. The latest version, Toast 11, should be able to record your channel for you.

I would think there are other programs out there for Macs that can also do that.
