I have some vinyl, cassettes, and minidisc recordings that I want to get on my Mac Pro. Which of the following will give the best sound?

- Run through iMic -> USB
- Run through M-Audio Fast Track ->
- Run through my old, high-quality Amplifier -> line in jack

Thanks for any advice. I'm willing to buy the iMic or Fast Track if my recordings will come out cleaner.

vinyl, cassettes, and minidisc
each has different requirements, so you should address each individually. the minidisc, for example, should be a digital-to-digital xfer, and you should avoid the 2 extra stages of conversion there.
