I assume this is the right place for a thread like this :)

Anyway, I'm looking for a device that will take a video feed from a SCART output and connect to a Mac Mini (so USB or FireWire). Preferably it would give me a /dev/* socket with the digital version of the video similar to how video4linux does. Anyone know of such a device that will do what I want?

The reason for direct video access is so I can both record & stream it over my network so while I would prefer direct access to the video, if the device comes with software that will stream and allow me to set recordings for certain date/time then that will be fine too.

*bump* does anyone have any ideas *at all*? currently, as long as it'll allow scheduled recordings, it'll do.
