I've been recording with my Canon HF10 @ 24P Cinema Mode and I just ordered Final Cut Express 4. I heard that Final Cut Express 4 will not edit videos recorded in 24p.

I guess I should stop recording at 24p until I buy Final Cut pro? 30p cinema mode would be my next choice...

FCE will edit 24p just fine. 24p is written as 60i on your tape. 24p material can be edited the exact same way 60i is done (on a 29.97fps timeline).

What FCE won't do is remove the pulldown and allow you to edit on a 23.976fps timeline.

Got it. I guess I will continue to use 24p Cinema mode...
