Hey. First time user of the site.
I've been searching around the Internet for days on how to get this to work, but alass it is having none of it. Well, I've had it working ONCE but after that, it never worked again.
I have a MIDi to USB cable that I am running from my DTXplorer to my Mac (Macbook Pro 13). My DTXplorer is turned on, the cable has a red light on solid indicating that it is turned on, however in Garageband the MIDI status is indicating that no MIDI inputs are connected.
Now, last night this was working. I had the MIDI status indicator tell me that 1 source was connected. However when I selected new track for a software instrument no sound played at all. It was like no kit was connected at all.
All, on the off chance my Mac pops up with a warning message indicating that a USB device is using too much power...
Overall, I've had the whole thing up, running and recording only once. I have no idea how I did it but it was a huge relief when it did. Now it seems everything has crumbled.
Would appreciate if anyone knew anything that could solve this
Cheers,
Adam
