Hi Guys,

I wanted to see if anyone could give me some advice on fixing my issue with this 3TB HDD.

So I was trying to transfer my files from my Mac to Win 7 and i installed the HFS+ drivers on windows so i can read the HFS HDD and for some reason it wasn't still showing up after install.

So as i'm trying to investigate the problem I go to Manage > Disk Management and i clicked on the HDD and a message popped up to initiate and i didn't even think about it and pressed the damn button. So after denting my head on the wall, I tried searching for some solution and still coming up short.

I downloaded TestDisk and tried using this guide and It managed to mount 2.2TB of the 3TB leaving me with the wonderful 800GB problem. So i wanted to see how i can recover the last 800GB if possible. When i go to Disk Utility I see this: (Image Below)

Also did diskutil list in terminal and got:
Code:
MPro:~ a$ diskutil list
/dev/disk0
   #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER
   0: GUID_partition_scheme *1.0 TB disk0
   1: EFI EFI 209.7 MB disk0s1
   2: Apple_HFS 1TB 999.9 GB disk0s2
/dev/disk1
   #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER
   0: FDisk_partition_scheme *3.0 TB disk1
   1: Apple_HFS 3TB Seagate 2.2 TB disk1s1
MPro:~ a$ gpt show -r -vvv /dev/disk1s1
gpt: illegal option -- r
usage: gpt show [-l] device ...
MPro:~ a$ gpt show -r -vvv /dev/disk1
gpt: illegal option -- r
usage: gpt show [-l] device ...
MPro:~ a$

Let me know if you need anything else, I'll try to post it for you asap. But without this 800gb portion most of my files are corrupt and I need to go through a lot of files to find out which ones are :(

Thank you in advance for your time and help!
