hi, I have some important data on a External HD, I conect on other mac for make a time machine backup and when open say: THIS HD DONT HAVE FORMAT! why??? so my fool friend put OK FORMAT.. and now data is lost, any app or way to recover?

If you have data that needs to be recovered, you can try Disk Warrior or Data Rescue II or File Salvage
You can also try JFileRecovery or SafeCopy
