Hello everyone,
I'm sure this question has been asked a lot on here but I'm at a loose end and am really looking for some help get some sentimental videos I have on an old iPhone. I need the videos now more than ever.
Long story short, I busted the screen on my old iPhone 6 just under 2 years ago and, when i tried to repair it I also busted the battery and it bulged up etc and basically destroyed the phone. I've hung onto it as, I knew what I had on it I hadn't backed up and new the day would come where I'd need to get the videos from it. I had always intended to get it fixed before this day came but, here I am.
The phone has been sitting in bits for the 2 years and, in my eyes i HOPE a new battery and screen will suffice. I don't care about using anything on the phone I literally just want to get the videos from it and that's it. I've ordered the new battery and screen off amazon which should arrive tomorrow.
The only bit that worries me is the picture below, it looks like a bit of the black soft material has been damaged slightly. Can anyone tell me what part this is? Where is the iPhones data held?
