Hi,

My macbook air broke down and I've taken out the SSD to recover my data.
I've purchased a LIF / LIF to SATA converter and connected the Apple SSD to my PC.

The drive registers in the BIOS and in Windows 7 I can see that a driver is loaded to support the drive.

When I open my Windows Explorer I also see the SSD and the name "BOOTCAMP (f: )". This match the name I gave the SSD when it was sitting in the Macbook AIr

So far - so good.

The problem starts here. Because even though everything looks perfect, something is not quite right. E.g. when I open the folder "f:\Users" which should be the users folder on the f drive I get the exact same result as if i open "c:\users".

So somehow it "merges" the c and f drive.

So I guess the approach I'm using is not the way to go?

Is there a way to recover the windows data from my bootcamp drive now that I've installed it in my PC?

I had a MAC and Windows partition on the drive. In the windows partition I had Outlook installed. Outlook save all my mails in a PST file in the windows partition. That's the file I'm interested in getting back.

Thanks !
