Hi everyone,

I need your help with an issue:

I had a 256 G SD Card for stocking my data;

I copied this data on a 1To HDD;

I thought all the data was copied because I have the same memory occupancy on both: 148 Go;

I took the SD card, formatted it with a simple format (via panasonic SD card formatter App) and install on it High Sierra just to try launching mac OS from an USB key;

I realized yesterday that not all the data was copied, there are some important files that were not copied even if the space occupied on both stocking drives was the same !

I need your help to recover the data on the 256 Gigas SD... I read it was possible because there was only juste a simple formatting operation and not rewriting formatting completed...

If you have a link with a good tutorial, or can help me step by step (terminal ?)so I can save some bucks and not sending it to a company specialized on recovering data or buying an App...

Many thanks for your help guys...

Something to think about before paying for "data recovery":
Is the "lost data" REALLY "worth that much" to you?
Or... could you "rebuild without it"...?
