I made an audio engraving (trough the microphone of my iMac) with Quicktime but a power failure stopped it. I tried to find where Quicktime saves audio files, but found nothing. OS is 10.13.6 High Sierra and QT version 10.4 (928.13).
Is there any possibility to recover the engraving up to the point of the power failure or do QT hold it only in RAM until the recording is stopped?

Check in ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.QuickTimePlayerX/Data/Library/Autosave Information/Unsaved

If that location doesn’t exist in High Sierra, try to find in ~/Library/ a QuickTimePlayer folder.
