Recover media files? OSX Tiger 10.4

Is there any way I can recover some files in my scratch disk (for FCP) that got deleted a copuld hours ago? :eek: They aren't in the trash, it was emptied.
I tried using Data Rescue X, but only got files 1.1gb and lower. My files were in the 5-10gb range! Any suggestions would be greatly a appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry, but if Data Rescue isn't getting your files then they're most likely gone for good. :(

You could look through the phone directory for a local data recovery centre (or something to that effect) but it'll be very expensive and it won't necessarily work. Sorry. :eek:
