Recover photos from Finder

Replaced bad SD card from my Galaxy 4. Before doing so I put them on my Mac. They wound up in finder.Replaced SD card with a new one.How can I get the photos from Finder back into my phone?

Can you mount the new SD card on your mac - and then drag the photos back to the SD card from the Finder window?

No It only has a slot for a SD. There must be a way to reverse the procedure through the charger cord.

I googled this question and got no answers.It only tells you how to go from phone to PC. Is it at all possible?
