So I had made a brochure using Pages, and it took me about two hours to make. When I was almost done, just citing the resources from which I obtained the information from, Pages quit unexpectedly. I hadn't saved at all.
I restarted my Mac. When I did, I found a "recovered files" folder in the trash bin. I moved it to my desktop. I opened the file and saw another file named "com.apple.iWork.Pages_"[with more underscores and numbers afterward]. I opened that to see a file with a name that I can't remember because I changed it for some reason. I think it was my lost work. I try to open it, but it wouldn't work with archive utility. I tried to open it with Pages, but it didn't work. Is it possible to recover it?
I have Pages 09.
