I have been using bootcamp on another harddisk. Last night I want remove windows partition from it, so I opened Boot Camp Assistant. I made mistake and I choose another harddisk that I store my documents using mac which is hfs+ format and choose
"Erase disk and create a single partition for Windows"
So boot camp assist formatted my harddrive. I wanna get all data back. So I install Data Rescue II software. After a 3 hour scan (750GB HD), I reached all my files. I can see all the folders and files.
But when I restored them, and open, mac says files are corrupt. How can that happen? Because it was a really short format at about 3-4 seconds. Also I can see all files (~ 350GB data). Isn't it possiblle to get files?
I know macrumors' profs are gonna gelp me!!
