Hey guys. I just opened up a brand new MacBook Pro, and did a completely clean setup. Did not log in to any iCloud accounts. Did not transfer any files. Declined Siri, and all other options. It was completely clean.

As soon as I logged in, there was something in the trash can. It was an exec file called

"HelveticaNeue.dfont_ATS_968..."

Is this normal? I have never had this happen before and don't know where it could come from. Again, I didn't log in to any accounts or recover any files, and the laptop came sealed in plastic (although it was very puffy for some reason, like it was inflated with air).

It came from B&H.

Any ideas?

Weird. There's no such file in my trash, which hasn't been emptied since I got the computer.

If it was shrink wrapped it probably is brand new, but sounds like it may have had a corrupted font for some reason, which is what the Helvetica Neue is referencing.
