Hey guys, hoping to get a little help for my Dad. He dropped his iPhone 4 and the screen is broke to heck but it still charges and lights up. Unfortunately, he did not back it up and it has a password that I cannot enter into the phone with the screen being broken. I want to be able to get the photos and contacts from it if at all possible. I looked at a program called FonePaw and tried the trial version, but I do not think it will work since the phone was never synced to my Mac. Does anyone know anything short of repairing the screen that may be able to get the data?

Thanks

Never tried it (maybe someone can chime in), but would emulating the screen on a computer (with software that does that of course) allow this? Or does that require the phone to be unlocked? My thinking is to emulate the phone on the computer and then enter the password from there.
