Recovering deleted DMG/disk images

Hi,

I have accidentally deleted a couple of DMGs that I would like to get back. I dragged them to trash and emptied the trash, but notvia "secure empty". I have FileSalvage and a trial version of DataRescue, but I can't seem to get either to recover any DMG/Disk image files.

Any suggestions?

Data Rescue III. If you want to recover the DMGs you're probably going to have to buy software to do it.

If a program like Data Rescue is having trouble (one of the most recommended apps for this task) you may be out of luck. For best results you should stop using the hard drive, because continued use increases the likeliness that the region where the data was is being overwritten. Once it's overwritten it's gone.
