I just restored my phone and started it in iTunes as a New Phone. I backed it up before. On that backup I had my current saved data to a game (Chaos Rings). Is there any way to get that saved data out of the MobileSync Backups folder instead of completely restoring my phone again?

I'd love to be able to get that games data from a backup & use DiskAid to replace it in my current phone.

I've done something like that with The Walking Dead game. I used iExplorer to save the Documents directory of the app and then, when I needed it, replaced the folder to the redownloaded game.

Check through the app files to see where the saves are stored (hopefully they're stored in files named "save" or something like that).

Yes, I have done this with other games in the past. The problem this time is I thought I copied the save prior to restore but after the restore I realized I hadn't saved game data by itself. I had however backed up the entire phone in iTunes.

I'm wondering if I get get that individual game save from the entire iTunes Backup. As far as I can tell all the files in the iTunes Backup are lists of data and no clear separation of apps data.

I know that with iExplorer, you can go through your previous backups in the same way as if you were going through your device.

Wow, didn't realize iExplorer allows you to do that. That worked like a charm and is HUGE. Thanks
