How do you recover hard drive space after deleting large files? I can't figure it out because I moved all my music to an external hard drive and I show no gain on my internal hard drive space. Thanks for the help in advance.

Have you emptied the trash?
Are you running File Vault? If so, log out and answer yes when prompted to recover space.
No I am not running file vault. Trash is emptied. I was hoping there was a way to do it without running file vault. I did the bad thing and never created a user and always use the master account. Is there a way to change the master account so I can keep all my settings?
