Recovering important video from iTunes backup?

I had a video on my iPhone of my Grandmother, who passed away on December 8th, on my iPhone. I backed it up onto my iTunes, so I know it's in there somewhere. But I sold my iPhone today, and I thought I had emailed the video to myself, but it looks like I never did.

Is there a way I can just get it from my iPhone back up, even though I no longer have an iPhone?

yes, it can only be viewed by an iphone, so maybe if your friend has an iphone or ipod they can let you borrow to sync it back on their from the backup, so u can put import it to iphoto or whatever you use, then u can salvage it. the only device capable of reading files on a backup is iphone/ipod touch.
