So here's the deal. I was one of the impatient bozos who DL'd the iPhone software on the release morning and, yup, semi-bricked my phone. WHen I finally got it restarted, I'd lost all the photos and notes. Seems like one of the backups got corrupted and had to do a restore. The sync pane in itunes says there are a few sets of backups so I'm wondering if there's some way to recover the photos that were wiped.

Maybe eventually, Apple will make backing up/ restoring those files less arcane but for now, seems like they might reside somewhere in the user library, but where? Any clues?

yeah you can do it, all in itunes

right click on the iPhone
