Recovering Lost Files

Hi everyone,

My powerbook was dropped and some video that I was editing in Final Cut Pro disappeared...I've tried looking through my capture files, through old versions of my project, numerous searches and can't find these clips. Is there anything else I can try? Has anyone out there used any of the file recovering software to recover video files successfully? Any advice/info is appreciated, thanks!
 
I'm not sure of the circumstances of your lost files, but Data Rescue II and File Salvage I've used and both were able to recover "deleted files".
