I was hoping someone here might be able to answer a question for me. I'm using GarageBand v1.1.0 on my iMac G5, and there's plenty of space on my hard drive. The other night, I used GB to record a long jam session I had with some friends. The recording was all done on a single track via the built-in microphone. When we tried listening to it afterwards, however, the playback stopped at around the half hour mark. The purple triangle in the timeline somehow became stuck at "999." The size of the saved file is significantly larger than that of other long (1hr +) single track recordings I've done, so I know the missing portion still exists. Also, when the track reaches the purple marker and stops, I can click the "play" button and get snippets of the jam to play beyond the limits of the marker.
Any ideas on how can I move the annoying purple triangle beyond "999" (it won't slide past this point) and thus recover the rest of my jam session? How could this have occured in the first place (I've recorded other long jams in the past without incident)? This problem has been driving me crazy for days, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
