Recovering Original File Dates

When I switched from a Window PC to a Mac, all the files transferred to the Mac using Migration Assistant now have the creation date, and last modified date set to the date they were transferred from the PC. How do I recover and reset the original file dates for these hundreds of files so that I can properly manage them on my Mac?

I assume these original dates are preserved somewhere in the file properties and hopfully there is a way to restore them in batch mode.
