got my os up again 
woot... but now i have another problem..
i was typing a paper in pages. i wanted to take a break and watch a movie i downloaded earlier, when i opened quicktime it said i needed to update the program. i said ok and was brought to a window showing me all the updates waiting for my computer. i again said ok and started the update. as osx was closing out programs it asked me if i would like to "review"(im 99% sure thats what it asked) open documents" i clicked review and then the update continued.
anywho the file wasnt saved and now i cant find it anywhere. anyone have an idea of how to get the file back?
