Recovery Disc for iMac G5 A1058 (17", ALS)

I have a used G5 that works, but I want to reinstall OS X to get it back to a default state. I don't have the recovery disc. I tried downloading a bunch of install discs but every one that I tried came up with "This software cannot be installed on this computer." (see screenshot). I'm cloning the downloaded install discs onto a USB drive and running it via Open Firmware using boot ud:,\\:tbxi. The software runs, so I think I'm doing that part right, but any suggestions? I don't have any dual layer DVDs to burn, but I'd buy some if that would fix my problem.

I've tried these disc images:

Use a retail 10.4.6 disc image. Problem solved.
