Recovery from the same model

I know I have to use Migration Assistant if you are coming from your previous mac,

However, I want to swap rMBs with the exactly same backup.

Do I need to use Migration Assistant, or Command (⌘) and R keys just like described within above link?

I still don't know the answer, but I'd go with Recovery Mode(Command-R);

I ended up going along Migration Assistant. Went well.
