iPod touch Recovery mode and flashing apple logo

So recently my ipod touch 4g died and when i plugged it in, a few minutes later the apple logo starting flashing over and over non-stop. I managed to get it into recovery and used "RecBoot" to boot it out but when it boots it, it just boots it back to the flashing apple logo... Any help?
