I am trying to recover data (mainly images and music) from an old iMac that had elCapitan installed onto a macbook with the Mojave OS installed. The backup is a number of zipped files. I’m a bit rusty so I am not sure if its just a case of copying the backup files onto the new computer or are there any tricky things to consider?
