Hi All,

I have installed windows 7 on my late 08 macbook pro using bootcamp assistant, everything installed fine and works just fine. OS X boot fine and i can switch between just fine, however my recovery partition now refuses to boot. On start up i get the option to boot to OS X, windows and recovery, so the partition is still there. I click on recovery and it starts to load and gets half way and stops. After about 3min the screen will flicker once and i get either the mouse pointer or the spinning ball, this is as far as it will go.

This isn't a huge problem as i have OS X on a pen drive, its just a do abit of traveling for work and i don't want to rely on me remembering to bring the pen drive with me just in case OS X has a fit and stops working while am away.

Am running OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) / Windows 7 with the appropriate bootcamp driver.

I have wiped and reinstalled OS X and windows again to no avail

Any help would be great.

Thanks :)
