Hi All,
We still use our Mac Mini:
Machine Name: Mac mini
Machine Model: PowerMac10,1
CPU Type: PowerPC G4 (1.2)
Number Of CPUs: 1
CPU Speed: 1.42 GHz
L2 Cache (per CPU): 512 KB
Memory: 1 GB
Bus Speed: 167 MHz
Boot ROM Version: 4.8.9f4

...that has the following problem: When shut down (either from the Apple menu or, more understandably, by unplugging it), it just won't start normally (HFS+ Journalled fs). Every time this occurs, I can solve it by running fsck_hfs/DiskUtility and rebooting.
When working, a reboot will be done without problems, but strangely enough: Shutting it down (orderly) and turning it back on won't!
Knowing what to do when this happens, I am not really worried, but it is really bothering me.
Could it be a HD problem (it's not the original one that came with it)? or maybe a main-board issue?
Thanks for any advise you can provide me with (specially pointers to analysis tools, the disk 1 "Hardware check" renders nothing).
Cheers,

Marcos
