Recurring alarm for all-day, multi-day events?

I have an event (telling me to feed cats I'm taking care of for a week) that lasts about several days and is marked as "all-day." Is there a way I can have a daily alarm at the same time, but still keep this as a single event? I'm running Mac OS X 10.6.8 and iCal 4.0.4. Thanks!
