Recurring meetings not syncing from outlook calendar

I have birthdays setup as recurring all day events in outlook, i discovered they were not syncing because of the reminder setting. Then i created a brand new one and it did sync, i was able to see the first instance in the calendar. But none of the recurring instances are showing up.

I read several threads about syncing issues but could not find this one, apologies if it is there and i missed it.

any help would be appreciated.
