totally cool
Does anyone else have recyclebank? https://www.recyclebank.com/
They just introduced it our area by giving us two new containers, one for trash and the other for recycling. The truck that comes along to pick up your recycling reads a code and weighs your recycling to log it into the database. You can exchange points for coupons and movie tickets and the like. I'm surprised to say our recycling has been more than our trash for the past three weeks.

I don't need a scale to tell you that. We've always got more recycling than trash. Our recycling container is over twice as big as our garbage container; and when I lift them into the back of my truck every week, the recycling one is always heavier.

Do they give you points based on the weight of your recyclables or the ratio to the weight of the garbage? Seems that some people may accumulate more than others just for throwing out more stuff.
