I posed this question in official Apple Forums, but it has been two days with absolutely no responses, so I thought I'd give it a go here:
I have been having this issue since Mac OS X 10.5.7, and it is still happening in Snow Leopard as well.
Whenever I scroll a page in Firefox/Safari or play a video in Quicktime/VLC/Hulu Desktop that has yellow content (any shade or tint) I notice red artifacting in those areas.
A friend of mine suggested it could possibly be a video driver issue (which I had already considered), but he wasn't sure, and I have not found anybody else who is having this problem online or offline.
I also thought at one point that it had something to do with viewing my MacBook on an external monitor (24" ViewSonic) but it happens on the external monitor and the MacBook's display as well.
Any ideas or suggestions to get rid of this behavior?
