i have a 60GB G5 iPod, and i have recently noticed little specs on the screen. At first, it was only a few specs, but now there are a significant amount. Is my screen damaged? I have never dropped or damaged my ipod, I take reasonably good care of it.

Has this happened to anybody else? Do i need to send the iPod back to apple?

Please help...thanks

its probably just a stuck or "dead" pixal. its nothing to worry about unless your really paranoid. its just a hardware glitch. i don't think dead pixals has caused devies to stop working before.

ok but

is there any way to get rid of them? or do i have to send it back to apple?

its prolly a defect in the screen so you would have to send it back to apple to get it fixed. i've heard of some cases where a dead pixal eventually just disappeared

If there's more than 1 or 2, that's bad. I, personally, would consider 1 unacceptable, but some people are fine with them I guess.

Apple will replace it, call them up.
