Hi,

I have now put my macbook back together again after taking it apart to dry out after a water spill to the outside of the macbook (it was closed but in sleep and on the same table as a spilled flower vase)

However. I am confident everything is back as it was.

Unfortunately, the hope that it would dry out and everything would be OK has died.

I have plugged the power supply back in and I get the same error as I had before I dismantled to fully dry it out:

The charger light on the magsafe flickers red to green then stays on red with a flicker of green every so often. The button on the battery does not bring any green light on the battery.

Now the question is what to do next? I thought that maybe the interior magsafe power unit may have been damaged and perhaps I should replace it. (The metal casing looks a little dark) I have a photo attached.

But before I start spending does anyone have any tips or experience in this matter?

Thanks in advance.
