Red circles and squares have appeared in my music library

For the last couple of days I've been unable to listen to about 90% of the music I have on my Iphone.

The songs are now written in grey, and have a red circle with a square in the middle, next to them.

I've tried everything to fix it, but so far nothing has worked.

Can someone please help me??

Have you tried a hard reset? (hold home and power buttons at the same time until the phone restarts).

If that doesn't help, turn iTunes match off, then back on?

Looks like iTunes Match is on and they are waiting to download from icloud.
