Red Dot on Top of Screen

I am wondering what the little red dot on the top of the watch face is. I have been seeing it in some review videos. I wonder if it means you have alerts? I tried searching Google and all that I see is that the Watch won some kind of red dot award. LOL.

Yeah, I'm fairly certain it means you have un-checked notifications.
