Bonjour,

When I quit a full screen App using 'Command Q' (or quit) and I re-open this App, the App is full screen, which is what I want.
However, when I quit a full screen App using the red dot in the upper left corner, (which is much more convenient to use) and I re-open it, the App is part-screen and I have to put the app full screen (with the green dot) each time.

Is it possible to use the red dot to close a full screen app and re-open it full screen?

Thanks...GUY

The red dot does not "Quit" the application, it closes the screen. Look at the Menu Bar to see the application is still there.
A better explanation is Here:

I just checked and you are right, the red dot does not quit, it closes only the screen (I did not notice that before, thanks). This being said, is it possible to return to full screen if I do not quit the app / using the red dot to close the screen?

There are two ways to get Full Screen: Click the green dot, or, hold down Ctrl + Command and hit F on your keyboard. Look at your Dock and click on the open App to get it back on screen.

It does on certain Apps, mostly those where you can only have a single open window. Examples are: iMovie, Photos, Sys Prefs, Contacts, Disk Utility and the App Store, to name some.
