Hi,

So, my white Macbook's (2,1) external Monitor (iiyama) suddenly has hundreds of flickering red dots all over it. A quick Google search told me that this was probably related to the Logic Board.

I have to hand in a uni paper on Friday, which is not quite done yet, so I've saved it on my external HDD, just to be sure.

I'd just need a ballpark here: what can happen from here? Will my PC stop working completely in the next few days/hours/minutes, or will those red dots be all? I can't afford a new board (apparently they cost around 700€), let alone a new computer, at the moment, so I'd just need to know if I can go at least a week with this problem (or at least until Friday evening), or if these are the final words ever written on this Mac.

:(

btw no other symptoms so far, fan speed is normal, no general slow down, nothing. Just the dots on the external monitor (i.e. nothing seems to have changed when deconnecting that screen).
