Why is this happening in Mail (see attachehment) (Mail Version 2.0.3 Tiger with latest revisions)

Spell checker has died, I'm not sure what u can do to fix this. Someone come to the rescue!

Maybe somehow you have switch language in the spell checking and it's no longer checking for English words and thus those are incorrect?!?!

EDIT: I'm not even sure you can do this..... just seemed like it could be the problem.

You can change the spell-checker language by going to most any text entry area (like a reply to this post), right/control clicking to bring up the menu, selecting Spelling->Spelling... and then changing the language.

Hopefully, this is all that happened and is easily reparable!

found the problem

Dictionary was set to Spanish! Back to normal thanks for the help!
