Hi, im unsure of how to fix the red light in my audio jack. I see there is a little metal bit that protrudes out towards the centre of the jack on the right hand side closest to the red light, and then there are two metal bits on the left and right closest to the entrance of the jack. which one of these is causing the sensor to think theres a jack in it and how do i fix it?.

Thanks.

Tried repeatedly plugging and unplugging the 3.5 mm connector until the light goes away, as the red light is the indicator of the digital, optical audio out being enabled, and sometimes it just gets stuck?

Hi i tried this about 5 times but it didn't make any difference, it works with headphones perfectly fine, i have read that poking a certain point in a certain way with a safety pin can fix it, but i don't know where to poke and the technique to use. thanks.

Do NOT poke anything in there unless you've muted or powered off your device!
