In my Power Mac G4 (The MDD or DDR model, dual 1.25GHz) there is a little red light that is on the motherboard. From what I've heard it's a bad thing to see in a Power Mac G5, but I'm not entirely sure.

What is the purpose of this light and what does it mean? It's always been on since I've gotten the machine yet the machine works perfectly fine.

There's a picture below. The light is circled in red.

Mistaken

The red light problem is on the G5. The red or any other light on the G3's and G4's is just power to it when on.
