I've recently noticed this red line appearing sometimes in the Today tab of the Notification Center, it moves down with whatever the current time is and I have no idea why it appears there randomly.

Red Lines

Could be iOS. I remember my iPad having a black like across it after updating to iOS 6.

I would wait for the next update and see what happens. Or try restoring it.

The red line is to indicate the current time when there is something in your calendar on the today view.

Right, that's how it is in the day view of the Calendar app as well (unless you are using the list view that was brought back in iOS 7.1).

I figured it look like the line in the Calendar app however it only shows up for me in to Today tab from like midnight - 4-5am and even when I have nothing in the Calendar for that day that's why I'm curious about it.
