Red mark on screen

Anyone else have this? It isn't noticeable unless the screen is completely black, but then there is a huge red tinted splotch in the middle of my screen. Hoping to take it in soon, but any ideas?

I've had this problem for months (haven't had time to take it in, and since it's really only annoying when watching a dark scene in shows/movies...lived with it) and even when it's pitch black the problem is evident. Even more evident, actually.
