I've got a 2008 Macbook Unibody and since a week or so, the screen turns completely red after it wakes up from sleep. Moving the screen forward or backwards seems to solve it, so I initially thought there would be some cable problem.

However, when it has been on for a while, I can move the screen as much as I like without the screen turning red again.

Has anybody ever experienced this? Could it be software related?

I'd say its still most likely the cable. Maybe when the laptop is colder something doesn't connect properly, but when it heats up it connects?
